Robert Hoffmann, PE
The original owner of Hoffmann Brothers, Robert acquired Linton Heating & Cooling back in 1988 and incorporated Hoffmann Brothers at that time. When the company was acquired we had 4 employees; currently Hoffmann Brothers has over 300. Hoffmann Brothers specialized in residential and commercial heating and cooling for many years before it expanded into indoor air quality, geothermal, ductless systems, plumbing, water heaters, drains, sewers, appliance repair, electrical service and more!
Robert graduated from the University of Missouri Rolla with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer. Robert serves on the board of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America where he was the President for two years. Robert was voted ACCA Man of the Year in 2000, 2001, and 2002. This award is given for leadership and contribution to the HVAC industry.
Robert also served on the Advisory Boards of Ranken Technical College and Vatterott Technical College. He served on the Executive Board of the Better Business Bureau and was on the dispute resolution committee. In 2004, the Better Business Bureau honored Hoffmann Brothers as the best service company in St Louis with their World-Class Customer Satisfaction Award. In 2014, Robert served as Chairman of the Board at the BBB. He was also a board member of Associated Builders and Contractors, and served as President in 2006.
Chris Hoffmann
Chris currently serves as our President and CEO at Hoffmann Brothers. Prior to joining Hoffmann Brothers, Chris served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and subsequently worked for a national financial institution supporting corporate banking clients. Chris holds a B.S. of Economics from Saint Louis University, an MBA from Olin School of Business, and a MLS from Washington University School of Law. Chris is very passionate about Stray Rescue of St Louis where he has adopted a few different dogs. He currently lives in Saint Louis with his wife, Teresa, his daughter Penelope, and dog named Bear.
Joe Hoffmann, PE
Joe currently serves as General Manager and Vice President here at Hoffmann Brothers. Joe went to SLUH before attending the University of Missouri Columbia. Joe graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mizzou. After college, Joe moved to Louisville, KY to join the Trane Commercial Sales team as a Sales Engineer specializing in Commercial Controls. Joe is a licensed Professional Engineer.
