Founder: Robert Hoffmann, PE
Robert Hoffmann is the original owner and founder of Hoffmann Brothers. In 1988, he acquired Linton Heating & Cooling and incorporated it under the Hoffmann Brothers name. From a humble beginning with just four employees, the company has grown to over 300 dedicated professionals. Under Robert’s leadership, Hoffmann Brothers has expanded from its core residential and commercial heating and cooling services to include indoor air quality, geothermal, ductless systems, plumbing, water heaters, drains, sewers, appliance repair, electrical services, and more.
Robert holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla and is a registered Professional Engineer. He has significantly contributed to the HVAC industry, serving on the board of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and as its President for two years. Robert was honored as ACCA Man of the Year for three consecutive years (2000, 2001, and 2002), recognizing his leadership and contributions to the industry.
Robert’s commitment extends beyond his professional achievements. He has served on advisory boards for Ranken Technical College and Vatterott Technical College and has been actively involved with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), where he was on the dispute resolution committee and served as Chairman of the Board in 2014. Hoffmann Brothers was awarded the World-Class Customer Satisfaction Award by the BBB in 2004 under his leadership. Additionally, Robert has served as a board member and President of the Associated Builders and Contractors in 2006.
CEO: Chris Hoffmann
Chris Hoffmann, the CEO of Hoffmann Brothers, has a diverse and distinguished background. Before joining the family business, Chris served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and later worked in corporate banking for a national financial institution. Chris holds a B.S. in Economics from Saint Louis University, an MBA from the Olin School of Business, and a Master of Legal Studies from Washington University School of Law.
Chris’s leadership is driven by the company’s purpose of improving life in every home. Under his guidance, Hoffmann Brothers continues to enhance its services and deliver exceptional solutions that make a tangible difference in the lives of our customers.
General Manager & Vice President: Joe Hoffmann
Joe Hoffmann serves as the General Manager and Vice President of Hoffmann Brothers. He attended St. Louis University High School (SLUH) before earning his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Columbia (Mizzou). After graduation, Joe moved to Louisville, KY, where he joined the Trane Commercial Sales team as a Sales Engineer specializing in Commercial Controls. Joe is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
Joe’s expertise and leadership have been instrumental in driving the growth and success of Hoffmann Brothers. His technical knowledge and commitment to excellence ensure the company continues to deliver top-notch services to its customers.
