Here’s why: - Our employees are some of the best in the industry and technical schools. They understand today’s sophisticated mechanical equipment and computer technology. Of all job applicants, only 1-2% pass our test. Because our criteria and expectations are so high, we do one of two things: we hire people with experience and thoroughly check them for proficiency or we send a person through our intense apprentice program.
Our school is a U.S. Dept. of Labor approved apprentice program and it takes a person 5 years, 2 nights a week/ 3 hours a night, for them to complete the program, all while working during the day. Our service and installation staff receives new training every other week. We give them tests after each class to make sure they were paying attention. We also offer customer service and people skill training.
Hoffmann Brothers supports NATE technician certification. Lennox dealers who employ NATE certified technicians are flagged with the NATE logo within the list. North American Technician Excellence, Inc. (NATE) is the leading certification program for technicians in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry and is the test supported by the entire industry.
